This illustration celebrates a different kind of beauty one that embraces aging with confidence and joy. I depicted an older woman at the beach, two drinks in hand, wearing a unapologetic swimsuit. The elderly are often underrepresented in modern media, and society tends to view aging with negativity. But to me, growing older means collecting stories, knowledge, and plenty of smile lines.
